George Chomiak fought in the Korean War according to Ken Chomiak his nephew.  Ken said that he remembered his Uncle George telling him when he was in combat and during the night attacks the North Koreans would call out American names and say they were injured and those who went out to help would never return.  The branch of service is unknown at this present time September 2011.
